When our client purchased their new home, they inherited an outdated solar system that simply didn’t meet their needs. The system features 12 Trina Solar bifacial panels, delivering 7,440W of solar generation. Thanks to their bifacial design, these panels can actually produce more than their rated output by capturing reflected sunlight from surrounding surfaces—maximizing performance in Baja’s sun-drenched environment. This super efficient solar array is paired with two Victron Energy Quattro 10kVA inverters and six Pylontech Pelio lithium batteries.
Victron’s Quattro inverters are industry-leading for hybrid power systems, offering up to 20,000W of continuous output and up to 40,000W of surge capacity using Victron’s innovative PowerAssist feature—ideal for powering heavy loads during peak usage. The Pylontech battery bank ensures the home remains fully functional during both short and extended power outages, automatically taking over when the grid fails.
